Fondaco dei tedeschi
From the legendary courtyard where Marco Polo, the symbol of all Venetian merchants, lived, to the Fondaco dei Tedeschi, the old seat of the Northern merchants, and to the heart beating old Republic economy: Rialto market with its historical original structures, but also with the liveliness of an up to date retail market. This tour will then take you through the old disreputable district around the market and will finish in the large Campo San Polo, the hub of the surrounding area.

Campo del Ghetto Nuovo
Don't miss the opportunity of visiting the old Venetian Jewish Ghetto, which still preserves its original traits. The Ghetto is placed in the Cannaregio district, one of the oldest and most charming districts in Venice, almost unknown to mass tourism and consequently still genuine. The tour consists of the Jewish Ghetto area and will also include the Madonna dell'Orto gothic church with its art treasures and the charming Abbazia della Misericordia.
La visita alle sinagoghe prevede una prenotazione speciale: richiedetecelo specificatamente in fase di prenotazione.

Arsenale
The Arsenal - the state shipyard where the famous Venetian galleys were built - defines, with its structure, the surrounding area.
A stroll in the Castello area, the most typical district in Venice, placed in the farthest eastern part of the city. This tour starts from the Pietà church - where the famous baroque musician Vivaldi worked all of his life -, and winds through the very old Campo della Bragora with its ancient houses and church and ends in the Campo dell'Arsenale in front of the famous state shipyard's main entrance.

Zattere
Dorsoduro is a "sestiere" (the Venetian word for district) full of life and light. The tour starts in Campo Santa Margherita (nearby the university area, the young people and student's meeting point) and will take you alongside the Zattere, the promenade Venetians prefer. Walking through the typical alleys you'll arrive at the Squero di San Trovaso - one of the few shipyards where gondolas are still made by hand - and the Salute Church from where you'll enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the world.
During this tour it is possible to visit a handcrafted mask workshop and also a shipyard for gondolas (ask for prices and reservation)
If you are fond of art you can't miss this tour! We will start in Santa Maria Formosa Campo, where we will see the amazing ancient San Zaccaria church with its architectural stratifications, then the Venetian Renaissance masterpiece: Santa Maria Formosa church with the surrounding Campo and, finally, the gem of the Venetian Campos: Santi Giovanni e Paolo and its church where the most important Venetian noble families where buried and where it is possible to admire many works of art.
